Carnival Cruise Line - Bad communication/Proper Documents
This was our first cruise, 'Netta Trahan and Gregory Trahan. We depended on Carnival Cruise employees to tell us what we need to board, I was told that I could use my DL, when we got there to board I was told that I could not go without my Birth Certificate, we where walked upstairs to see what they could do, I could board with DL if it would have been a Enhanced DL, which we dont have in Texas.
After I was escorted out and the Galveston Police had to take me to my car, I called the number on the card that was given me which is called Guest Care Department, the first three employees was very helpful, I was told that I have to wait until my name cancel out before anyone could help me.
After waiting a few days to make sure my name was canceled out, spoke with this employee on 11/7/18 that told me that I was wasting my time because your not getting anything back but, I can write a review because it was my responsible to have my doctuments, and I said I would have if wasnt a communication problem with carnival, so I feel she was right thats what I get for depending the employees that work for Carnival to give me the right information. This woman talk to me like I was a Carnival employee.
Reason of review: communication with boarding documents.
Monetary Loss: $600.

How old are you??? This was not a communication problem with Carnival and completely YOUR fault.
It is your responsibility to know what documents you need when traveling anywhere out of the country. Yours.
No one else. It is also clear on their website what you need....you deserve nothing.
