Do you sexually abuse women? Cruise with Carnival and do it without consequence

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
On the dance floor during a Carnival Cruise, a man near her grabbed my granddaughter from behind, pulled her to him, and kissed her. She confronted him and reported him to security. My granddaughter witnessed him being inappropriate with other women. What did security do? Nothing. He lied about his behavior and security basically said *** to my granddaughter. Arent videotapes available? Young women, Carnival wont protect you!!

Told to gather our belongings and leave

Carnival Cruise Line - Told to gather our belongings and leave
Carnival Cruise Line - Told to gather our belongings and leave - Image 2

*****MY CONTACT INFO AND OUR CRUISE INFO WILL BE AT BOTTOM****

YES AS YOU CAN SEE I AM NOT ON THAT SHIP

So technically its not a post cruise inquiries i was told to leave

WHAT THE ***

CARNIVAL CARNIVAL CARNIVAL

I do not think that the Carnivals financial situation is such that you tell a paying guest to gather their personal belongs and LEAVE.

I am a citizen of the United States, I am a female.(your guest services person patted his chest and said You have to respect me (i will also provide more details)

So WOW as you can see i am not on that 8 day cruise.

Any and all of our cruise information for this cruise ALL stated the same info on what our room was.

A person came to the cabin as we were dropping off some of the bags, because they were heave and fragile. He told me to go the customer service right now. I ask him to clarify what he just said. Again the exact same thing. During this time i was told to go to CS 3 different times.

I went down to CS and waited in line with everyone else. A MALE individual waved for me to come up to counter. He said that 8205 IS NOT you cabin. I stood there at that CS for about 20 minutes, literally in tears. This man called me a liar at least 10 times. He told me to gather my personal items and LEAVE!!! This belittling continued over and over again. He said if you are Larinda Fisher you knew that you booked a cabin on deck 6, (never provided that room number). I told him to give me a room upgrade what every he had, he said the ship if completely full that he could not do that. I ask for a supervisor multiple times. This individual continued with being rude and attacking my character. One insult after another. He told me to show him my ORIGINAL booking confirmation. I told him i did not have that. I had what is required to have to board a cruise, my boarding pass, my pass port, luggage tags, photo identification. I showed him what i had. He told me i could go have a seat over they and he would see about a cabin when everyone was check in). He again, getting even louder said i told you that 8205 is not your cabin and never was. Continued with his condensing remarks, with calling me a liar. He stepped back just slightly and patted his chest and said very loudly, YOU HAVE TO RESPECT ME. I stood there watching him still in tears. I said look i booked cabin 8205 everything i have now including my luggage being delivered to that room along with all of the letters and cabin sign from the ULTRA cruise. He patted his chest again and i cut him off and said, HOW ABOUT YOU JUST *** I told him i was a United States citizen and i did not have to RESPECT any just because they ordered me to do so. He waved his hand in the air telling me i dont have time any more of this. Do you see all the guest behind you, i need to take care of them. (WTF I AM PRETTY SURE I AM A PAYING GUEST ALSO, I DONT KNOW IM NOT A STOWAWAY) That is it you need to gather your personal belongs and leave. I ask how do i do that, and he said THE SAME WAY YOU CAME IN. Being quite confused with everything and putting up with the *** i was disoriented and ask where would that be and he pointed over to gangway areas. I said fine.

So I didnt have my belongs and did not even have my husband, he was sleep out on the deck. I went back to that room and was attempting to gather personal belongings, I suppose he didnt see me leave immediately, and he sent JON The Floor Manager to tell me again gather your personal belongs and leave. He was talking on the radio i assume with the rude *** at CS. He told then I am standing right her, yes i told her. I walked right by him basically he was standing now in the door but had it propped open, and went to get my husband. I was in the process of telling him what had been going on for the better part of an hour now. He said no way there must be a mistake. I told him I am done, i leaving. He was a confused as i was. So the JON told the person he was talking to that yes they have their belongs and i told them to leave.

As we made our way down to leave that person he look in my direction with a smile on his face. I step to CS dest and told the lady beside him we are leaving now. She did not respond.

Another guy came over to us and he said no they cannot tell you to leave me see what is going on. He cam back and said that they had me booked on deck 6. I told him some of what had already transpired. He said they cannot tell you to just leave.

We continued over to the door gangway area and a security person said maam you can not get off the ship. You are in customs right now. I told him that i was told to gather my belongs and leave. He said no they cannot tell you that. He ask who said that and i pointed to the individual at CS desk and said they guy right there under the sign. He told another security person to get a supervisor now. So maybe about 10 minutes of trying to explain all of this and trying leave, they were not able to get a supervisor. I repeatedly tried to go out the door. Finally he stepped to the side and let her go. I cannot get anyone to come over and deal with the situation.

Let me explain i had to drive all the way back home last to Claremore, Oklahoma, north east of Tulsa. That is a 10 hour drive. So one would assume it would have been a 10 hour drive down as well. So all with in a 24 hour period, we drove for 20, and spent about 2 hours of *** from the CS. Called a liar multiple times, and told to leave multiple times.

Let me further explain. Both my husband and myself are government employees, ( I retired February 1, 2022. (This was a celebration cruise, he had gotten a promotion at that some time). I know what is required and what is not. I know what trust and integrity are. I know about oath of conduct. This individual failed at everyone of these. How dare he question my truth.

My stress and anxiety are through the roof. I am basically have a complete break down both physically and mentally (from the verbal abuse at CS). I have never in my entire life seen or heard anyone act as this person had done. I do not even know who to put most of it in writing. I am truly an emotional wreck. Yes i told him to *** he deserved it. That condescending *** needs to loose his job.

So now we loose all our money we paid to be on this trip. We are also ULTRA guest and we loose ALL of that. I have a trip November 12, i was taking my cousin, again a celebration for her, and at this point and time i plan on canceling it.

I simply do not need to support in any way shape, size or form this type of behavior, you simply cannot call someone a liar, berate someone, and treat any guest expecially when i have my documents right in front of their face from you CS desk.

This cruise has now been removed from my profile and it says did not complete boarding. Luckily for me we always do print and email ourselves the booking information. It is exactly what i told your CS department.

No refund of port taxes & charges of $402.24 No consideration he had a chest Xray that showed a diagnosis of Pneumonia 2 days before the cruise. Our physician said he should not go.& wrote a letter to Carnival stating that.We almost lost him. He was in the hospital almost 3weeks.Carnival had no consideration & after waiting 3 years for this cruise you would think they would have some consideration. We also had 800$ of on board credits after 2 yrs.Of canceling cause of Covid..Do you think they would have offered to let us use that on a future cruise. After taking many cruises with family & friends,we are very disappointed in Carnivals inconsideration. Not a Happy Carnival fan.

The taxes and port charges were paid out to the appropriate places based on you booking the cruise. Carnival isn’t eligible to get that money back so as a result neither are you. Be glad you had bought insurance and got almost all of your money back.

The worst cruise experience of my life

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Carnival Cruise Line - The worst cruise experience of my life

To begin, I paid for the premium onboard wifi. We could rarely if ever use it.

It was completely insufficient to even open Facebook or to use Messenger. This was the entire reason for purchasing the package so that we could keep contact with our children. That was $160 wasted.

Next, we booked an excursion through Carnival for Cenote Swim and Buffet and a tour of Chichen Itza. Our tour of Chichen Itza was cut short because several passengers would not return to the bus from the Cenote Swim and Buffet at the designated time.

The tour guide and even the bus driver had to go and make a group of grown adults get back on the bus. We spent 20 minutes at Chichen Itza, which was honestly the entire reason we booked that excursion. Our money was wasted because for 6 hours out of a 7 hour trip, we were on a bus. In addition, the tour returned an hour late.

This made us angry. What happened next made me furious and created serious doubts about ever sailing with Carnival again.

After returning to the ship and purchasing Sushi at Sea, a gentleman behind us had a heart attack. Myself and another passenger were the first to respond and I began CPR while bystanders activated emergency medical services on the cruise ship. I have five years experience as an emergency medical technician and in good consciousness could not sit by while this man was dying.

Soon after, we were joined by other passengers who were also medical professionals. Medical response from the cruise ship was insulting and infuriating. There was not an AED present on the deck. It took the first medical staff to respond over 20 minutes to arrive.

When he did arrive, he didn't have an AED or any other appropriate equipment to perform CPR. We had to wait further for him to radio back to sick bay and request further assistance while we continued CPR. At this point, the gentleman was attempting what is known as agonal respirations and had a weak and sporadic pulse, but he had regained a healthy color, all of which are indicators of effective CPR by the other passengers and myself. When other Carnival medical staff finally arrived, their lack of training was apparent.

They began compressions incorrectly, with one individual from Carnival's staff performing compressions on the gentleman's stomach. Another placed the AED on the gentleman and attempted to deliver a shock while responders were still making physical contact with the gentleman. When we attempted to assist, we were removed by ship security, who wouldn't even let me go through the same door to be with my wife. They told me to "find another way." We were maybe an hour outside of Progreso.

The ship did not attempt to divert back to port nor did the medical staff attempt to transfer the gentleman to sick bay. They continued CPR for over an hour on the dining room floor while other passengers continued to eat. The gentleman expired and was left on the floor for a lengthy amount of time, covered by a sheet. I have been diagnosed with and undergone treatment for PTSD related to my experiences in emergency medical service.

To be a part of something so tragic on what was supposed to be my honeymoon has caused a resurgence of negative emotions and mindsets that urged me to seek medical treatment in the first place. I am having flashbacks to the event with the gentleman on the cruise as well now. The final straw has me considering litigation.

I awoke this morning to find that my bank account had been overdrafted by Carnival for five undisclosed charges. According to the copy of the Sail and Sign account we received Saturday morning, roughly $524 was to be settled to my debit card.

I see this charge being finalized from my bank account as of yesterday, April 10th, 2023. This morning I discovered five additional charges totalling nearly $500. These additional charges have resulted in an overdraft on my bank account. When I attempt to contact Carnival via the customer service number, I am told that Carnival will put a hold on my account until all charges are finalized.

The charges of $524 were finalized as of Monday. I'm contacting my bank to dispute these five new transactions.

To say I am displeased and even disgusted with Carnival is an understatement. To see the gentleman die and to have my efforts to resuscitate him be thrown out the window was heartbreaking and traumatizing. This in addition to all of the other complaints has seriously tarnished what I thought to be a wonderful means of vacationing.

I'm also researching how to report the medical staff for malpractice. I should not come back from my honeymoon with a traumatic experience and to be treated so rudely by ship security when I am only there to help.

You pre pay for spa treatments and they charge you again

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Carnival Cruise line is a big joke. We went on an excursion and was told you needs about 2 hours on the cable car.

When we arrived to the cable car line it would have taken us 6 hours to get back to the ship. Need less to say we had to do the 600 ish steps to get back to the water taxi. We did make it but that is a poor way to treat your customers. There were too many ships in port that day.

Also it doesnt pay to pre pay for spa treatments because they will charge you again for the treatments. They had my debit card over drawn. Finally they put the money back into my account. I went down to guest services(if thats what you want to call it) the night before the cruise and they first said I owed $188.00 then they said oh wait a minute and then I had a zero balance.

So I thought everything was ok just to find out that they charged $1,161.26 on my debit card again on 9/30/2023 which made my account overdrawn once again. We were home from the cruise on 9/30/2023. The guest service people were very rude and just didnt care about your situation. Some of the bartenders and the food people on the Lido deck were rude as well.

Ive been on two other Carnival Cruises many moons ago and you were not treated like that. Maybe Carnival should sit back and look at some of the people working on their cruise ship.

I wouldnt take another cruise with them. Very very sad.
