Rescheduling Cruise due to Omicron

Horrible customer service

Have been on hold for 1 hour and 53 minutes. If it takes this long to speak with someone its not a cruise line worth sailing with.

3rd Time bait and switch

My fiance and I have cruised many times on various lines and I often set up groups to go on trips. The past 3 times I was booked on Carnival they changed the itinerary to somewhere I did not desire to go to because I was there many times before and had my fill.

Two of the last three changes were done while we were already on board, and the last most recent we had an email sent to us 3 weeks before we were to leave. And as the contract says no refund of your deposit! What's up with that? They changed my whole trip that I didn't even consider or want to go to the changed itinerary that they said we were now going to.

Clearly they have become another Bait and Switch company that has no regard for the customers want's and needs. They will not be even considered for my next group.

Vipf number

I booked a new cruise and the computer booking did not link my Vipf number with 28 cruises. I was given a new number with 0 cruises to my credit. My complaint resulted in Carnival linking the two Vipf numbers into the correct one and fixing the issue!

User's recommendation: Make sure you know your Vipf number before you book online. In my new booking, the computer program was supposed to look up and apply my Vipf number. Instead, it assigned me a new number with no previous cruises or benefits.

Question about my refund

I asked for a full refund for the Oct. 30 cruise tthat was canelled by Carnival. I completed the paperwork and sent it back online asking for a full refund of my $971.48. I have not received any response from carnival since then, which was approximately 2 months ago. I have tried to contact them by phone, having waited up to 1 hour but when I finally got connected after holding 1 hour, the phone acted up and cut off the call. I still have heard nothing from the cruise line concerning my refund. I don't know what to do to solve this situation. Cant log in on my app or your website and now I cant get customer service on the phone! Very upset. I would Like to book Excursions and dinner plans however without being able to get on the app or on the website this is impossible at this time I have not been able to get anybody on the phone also to speak to therefore I am writing in this app hopefully someone will get a hold of me.
